Oswald Road Primary School
Mrs Craven your blog is looking good. Your class seems to be doing alot of great work and reading.
In FS2C we love reading. Here are some pictures of us with our favourite stories. It would be great if you could leave us a comment about your favourite story.
We made and ate noodles to celebrate Chinese New Year. We described them using really good words. Can you remember any of them?
This week in FS2 we are celebrating Chinese New Year. We will be learing how people celebrate this festival, cooking and tasting some noodles and even having our very own dragon dance.
Below are some links to some stories all about Chinese New Year.

Here are some photos Mr Hough took of our Christmas performance. We hope you like them.
We will be learning about things that give us light, what it feels like in the dark and the different animals that come out in the day and at night.
Try playing the Light and Dark game with your grown up by following the link below. Which of the objects give us light?

Before half term the whole school had a mela to celebrate Diwali. There was a stall selling food and drink, people doing mendhi and the children had the opportunity to do lots of different activities including dressing up in a sari and making a diva lamp.
In FS2C we have been learning about Diwali. We have watched a video about how some children celebrate and another about the story of Diwali.
Below are the links to these videos. I hope you enjoy watching them.
